This 60-hour course offers a clear and accessible path for those considering a career as a private investigator (PI). VA DCJS sets registration requirements that include background checks, training, and examinations, all designed to uphold the industry's integrity and professionalism. For many, the training process is an opportunity to acquire new skills and knowledge, including investigative techniques and relevant laws, ethics, and best industry practices.
