O2E Private Investigator Entry-Level

This 60-hour course offers a clear and accessible path for those considering a career as a private investigator (PI). VA DCJS sets registration requirements that include background checks, training, and examinations, all designed to uphold the industry's integrity and professionalism. For many, the training process is an opportunity to acquire new skills and knowledge, including investigative techniques and relevant laws, ethics, and best industry practices.
Continuing education is encouraged and often required, allowing PIs to stay abreast of technological innovations, changes in the law, and emerging investigative methods. This commitment to lifelong learning makes the profession suitable for those who value personal and professional development.
At ATI, comprehensive training is prioritized. Our instructional approach includes lectures, role-playing scenarios, and insights from real-life experience. The student must achieve a thorough understanding of their responsibilities. By participating in this program, a PI is equipped to enhance the skills they provide to their employer and the clients they service.
This is a 60-hour course and the cost is $500.00
Making a Difference in the Community
Being the Professional
Finally, becoming a private investigator in Virginia is an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and the community at large. PIs are often the linchpin in matters of justice, safety, and truth. By bringing clarity to complex situations, they empower clients to make informed decisions and protect themselves from harm.
In a world where information is both more accessible and more vulnerable to manipulation, the value of a skilled and ethical investigator cannot be overstated. In Virginia, with its rich history and rapidly changing society, PIs serve as guardians of trust and stewards of truth.
